Shaila Anjum

(SHE/HER)

Clinical Director, Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Behaviour Therapist, MACP, BASc

Since I was young, I’ve always been naturally observant and empathetic, noticing the ways people think, feel, and react. I’ve used this curiosity not just to understand human behaviour, but to find ways to help others navigate life’s challenges. This passion for understanding the mind and supporting emotional well-being has guided my career as a therapist.

I work closely with individuals who are navigating OCD, all forms of anxiety, bipolar disorder (Type I and II), schizophrenia, and schizo-affective disorder. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your thoughts, emotions, or diagnosis start to take over your life, and I know how much it matters to feel truly understood and supported.

My approach is collaborative and person-centered. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—CBT, DBT, SFT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and grief counselling—to tailor treatment to your unique needs. My goal is to provide strategies and support that help you feel more in control, build resilience, and live authentically—without expecting you to fit into a box.

I care deeply about each person I work with. Every feeling, concern, and experience you share matters to me, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, validated, and supported. Healing doesn’t have to happen alone, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as you work toward clarity, stability, and confidence.

I believe everyone deserves a life that feels manageable, meaningful, and true to who they are—and I’m here to help you get there.
